i wish you could see my new living room first thing in the morning. we're talking 8 AM. the windows face south and just beyond them are a whole block of brownstone gardens with the biggest, loveliest trees. the light in the room is just so white and round and soft and the whole room is just placid. it's the best.

it's got me thinking of white and softness. objects that lend an air of calm beauty. here are some i really love.
