what i am about to say might shock you. it might really, really, really upset you. but listen to me, i've thought it over and it's ok.

after a little visit yesterday afternoon to american apparel and then a little time on their online store today, i think am ap might be one of my favorite stores of the moment (other than meacon's mloset, of course). it's way less watered-down cool than urban outfitters and way less expensive-preppy than j. crew. i mean, the stuff is so versatile and affordable, and right now, they are making some super great not-quite-basic basics. it has a voice and doesn't feel like its ripping anything else off too hard. i love all the colorways they're offering as well.

i mean, i'm really impressed!!!

and if i had money, i'd go do some real shopping. in fact, i'd probably spend over $30.00, and as you know, when you work at a thrift store, that's really saying something.
