Jeeste!!!

Thanks to you, I found out that the pics that our dear sweet angel friend, Ms. Alexia Rasmussen, modeled for are floating around the interweb already. I was there with her in Cannes (you can see little me in the background in one of the photos) and helped style her a bit as well. Here are some of my favorites:

(photos and clothing by baron-wells)

What a knock out. She's so effortlessly beautiful and pretty and classic. She's also starred in a stunning short film that won the SFR Prize for the most audacious film at the Cannes Film Festival.

She's goin' places, that one.

I'm going to take a wee nap and head over to Anna's backyard and hope it doesn't storm.

some x's and o's,

Brotherly Love

I'm back, Jess!!!!

You have been quite the blogger and I will blog until it hurts to make up for all my lost time.
I can't even explain to you how perfect and cathartic and full of wonderment a soloish trip around the world is.... the people I met, the things I saw, the few hours I slept.

I'll post some pictures in a bit, but until then, here are a few photos my brother has taken on HIS trip around the world. He just finished up a session teaching English on the "Peace Boat", pretty much semester at sea for Japanese students. He has a really amazing eye and his blog, kidethnic.com, isn't too shabby either.

So happy to be back in your life again, my little one. It's the summer, let us party like it is 2010.

Love,
Yas

bonjour!

are you in paris yet?!

well, no matter because i am not and you don't have a spare second to tell me about it anyway... sigh. i miss.

so, well, this and a few more will await your return.

today on facebook, caitlin posted this:

don't you love it? don't they look like an 80's esprit ad? real, real cute and all those primary colors but still very sophisticated.

the funny thing about this picture is that it reminded me of the little collection of images i have going on my desktop of things that sort-of seem like first-grade art projects but are also really beautiful moments of design/craft/art...

observe!

this i truly feel i must have somehow. wallpaper by fine little day:

i wish i knew where.what.whom but i don't. mad props, however.

also in need of. paperstore.

from on my favorite new tumblr, worldhunger.tumblr.com. i think it's one of the most incredible man made sights i've ever seen. like better than a skyscraper or a bridge or a pyramid.

it's happiness...
