Happy Merry almost Christmas, Jessica Warner!

Soooo, I have barely had time for my brain to comprehend how almost Christmas it is. My presents are not wrapped (and some not even purchased) and I am grumpy and tired from spending 6 hours in the airport yesterday (when I finally got on the plane I happened to be sitting next to the loudest couple on the face of the earth and witnessed two people vomit because of the excessive turbulence).

Well, now that I am safe and sound, back in NC, realizing that I have to have my family cart me around because I forgot to renew my license, I can give you an idea of all the things you need to purchase for me.

My wish list:

Color in the bleak sad winter... this brand uses the best textiles on the planet:

(Osborne)

I went Christmas shopping at the MOMA and realized the only purchase I was about to make was these socks... for myself:

A hand crafted pin-hole camera, for making Christmas memories, slowly...

Egad!!!! New Year's Eve party accessory?:

magical star maps in your living room! Or as you fall asleep looking up at Orion! Or to light your adventures in the Beacon's Closet bathroom!

I have no grown-up dishes, maybe these?:

OR any and all of these, mixed and matched together, like a senile old woman:

I want to sleep on his scary head:

While I read this... please?:

And there you go! I mean, whatever of the above you feel like buying. Whatevs.

So long, my little elf.

merry love,
Yas

Annnnndddd, I'm back.

I've been lazy as a sleepy baby... movin', chillaxin', holiday partyin'. That's what babies do. Trying to get back in the creative mindset, inspired by Pattie Smith's book and the artsy angels who are flying in and out of my life right now. So here we go, back to bloggin'.

It snowed today, and half of me was very excited while the other half made me want to stay in the F train 6th ave station and hibernate with the rats and construction workers until a carrier pigeon came down to tell me that spring had sprung.

I may or may not be sending this via that very pigeon right now.

SOoooo, today, everything will be about comfort and warmth, like an electric cashmere Snuggy (whoa, put that in the vault of good ideas).

Mon Dieu!!!!:

Because I'm dressing slightly manlier lately:

and I will wear them with these, and pretend I am Angela Chase:

For you and me, no footsies:

From the future, to heat you in the present:

I love them alllllll:

These blankets are supposedly discontinued... they are rad to the max x 10. Especially...

THIS ONE:

I know our Beacon's Secret Santa is a $10 limit, but what's another $200?  Come on.

And more than anything, I want one of these:

Our home will finally be a home. Steve will play Satie on the piano, Dave will read passages from Proust, Lexi will make organic hot cocoa with coriander, and I will do nothing but be happy as a lark.

Oh, winter. Go away.

Miss you lil' bub. Let us have some spiked cider soon?

forever yours,
Yas
